Ethics & conduct

What we hold ourselves to, written plainly enough that you can hold us to it as well.

The standard applies to everyone.

These commitments bind every employee, contractor and partner acting on behalf of S32 Technologies, in every engagement, regardless of the size or urgency of the opportunity.

They are reviewed annually and whenever we enter a new jurisdiction or line of work, and they are approved at board level.

The standard

Our standard of conduct

We describe capability as it is

A capability is presented as it is built, not as it is planned. Where something is on a roadmap we say so, and where we hold an attestation we name the body that issued it.

We protect client confidentiality

We name no customer in a pitch, a reference call or a case study without written consent. Confidentiality holds in every setting, including our own marketing.

We decline work

Eligibility review can end in refusal, and does. We turn down engagements that fall outside the authorities, the jurisdictions or the use we are prepared to support.

We compete on merit

No facilitation payments, no gifts to officials, and no intermediaries whose value is a relationship rather than a service. Our anti-corruption controls apply to us and to anyone acting on our behalf.

We run our own governance

The controls we sell, including attributable access, revocable permissions and an append-only audit record, are the controls we operate internally.

We correct in public

Where a published claim turns out to be wrong or unsupported, we change it and the change is visible.

Raising a concern.

Anyone can raise a concern: staff, a customer, a partner, a researcher, or someone with no relationship to us at all. Every report is reviewed by a named person, and where a concern involves the conduct of a deployment it is reviewed independently of the team that owns the account.

We protect anyone who raises a concern in good faith, including where the concern turns out to be mistaken. Retaliation is a disciplinary matter, and reports may be made anonymously.
